Temporary Resolution

You are warmly invited to attend an exhibition of work I have been developing in the course of my PhD research in Project Space 1, The Art School, 20 Scott Street, Glasgow.

As part of my research, I am looking for volunteers to share their experiences of the exhibition, and of photography and digital media more generally. Participants will be invited to view the work in the exhibition between 11:30am and 6:00pm on Tuesday 30th May 2017 and to answer a number of questions in a follow-up interview. The interview will be a semi-structured one lasting between forty-five minutes and one hour, and will focus on participants’ experiences of the artwork on display. The entire process should take no more than one hour and thirty minutes of volunteers’ time.

Further information about the study can be found here (PDF opens in a new window).

If you are interested in taking part, or have any questions about the study or the exhibition, please email me at c.weir1@student.gsa.ac.uk.

*Update* I am currently unable to access my university email – please direct all emails to cat@cmweir.com. Apologies for any inconvenience.

There will be a private view on Monday 29th May, between 7pm and 9pm. All welcome.

I hope to see you at the show!

Getting to The Art School

The Art School is part of the Glasgow School of Art Campus in Garnethill, just opposite the Mackintosh Building. It is a five minute walk from Cowcaddens Subway Station, and around fifteen minutes from both Glasgow Central and Queen Street Stations. There are also a number of bus stops on nearby Bath Street, Renfrew Street, Sauchiehall Street, and Hope Street, all within a few minutes walk.

Project Space 1 is on the building’s second floor.
